Steven Gill
Hi, I'm the owner, Steven Gill. Some of my earliest memories are of my father asking me to help with the projects he would do around the house: sweeping up sawdust when I was younger, holding a piece of wood for him when I was strong enough, and eventually learning to do it all side by side with him. When I was 17, I joined the US Navy to see the world and was promptly shipped off to Yokosuka, Japan, on board a guided missile destroyer.
After four years in the military, I was visiting with some friends in Mechanicsburg and ended up meeting Bea at Messiah College. We loved the area so much that we decided the Cumberland Valley was where we wanted to call home. I worked for a large, local corporation but my passion was really seeing the joy and relief on my family and friends' faces after I had completed that household project for them. (You know? The one they had been putting off for years.) After many years of working hard for someone else, I decided to create Gill’s Home Repair and start doing what I already loved: bringing joy to my neighbors, working with my hands, improving the community by improving the houses people live in, and doing all of that with honesty and respect.

Steven’s wife is the Marketing Director and Administrative Assistant for Gill’s Home Repair.
